Rebecca Woodard of Springdale, Ark.-based Harp’s Food Stores, Inc. took top honors in the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association’s (IDDBA) 15th annual Cake Decorating Challenge at the recent Dairy-Deli-Bake 2010 seminar and expo in Houston.

From a field of 73 entrants hailing from 40 supermarket chains, the International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA) has narrowed to three the number of contestants chosen to participate in its 14th annual Cake Decorating Challenge to be held at its upcoming Dairy-Deli-Bake ’09 seminar and expo in Atlanta, GA, June 7-9.

PRAIRIE GROVE, Ark. -- The last Dillon's grocery store in Arkansas, located here, has been purchased by Springdale, Ark.-based Harp's Food Stores Inc., according to published reports. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Harps, a 47-store privately owned grocery retailer that operates here under the Harps Food Stores and Price Cutter Food Warehouse banners, plans to install a fuel cross-marketing solution as part of a technology upgrade at four of its fuel sites.
