NEW Hosts Multicultural Workforce Management Event

CHICAGO -- Maximizing the power of multicultural work teams is the topic of a forthcoming learning event to be hosted by the Network of Executive Women (NEW) here.

The multicultural workforce event, slated to take place Feb. 7-8 in New York, will focus on managing across cultural differences, getting the most from today's increasingly diverse work teams, and recruiting and retaining the multicultural talent needed to manage your business, among others.

Diversity expert and author Trudy Bourgeois will serve as the guide for the two-day event, which will also feature a variety of other industry luminaries including: Cristina Benitez, president of Latino marketing firm Lazos Latinos; Joan Buccigrossi, director of diversity and inclusion for The Kellogg Co.; Marie Quintana, v.p./ethnic sales development for PepsiCo; John Rodriguez, president of the Palacio Group; Sherri Toney, v.p./diversity and inclusion and engagement, The Kellogg Co.; Julie Washington, former director of shopper marketing for Procter & Gamble; and Denise Andrews and Candi Fetzer, founding partners of Legacy Unlimited.
