NEW YORK - An increased interest in appearance, hygiene, and grooming on the part of today's males has contributed to the growth in personal care categories around the world, according to a study released today by ACNielsen, a VNU business and the world's leading marketing information company.

BOISE, Idaho -- Albertsons, Inc. has elevated Duncan Mac Naughton, who most recently served as group v.p./grocery merchandising, to s.v.p. of merchandising. In his new post Mac Naughton will lead Albertsons merchandising efforts across food, general merchandise, health and beauty care, fuel, and alcohol.
