Kidfresh, the line of frozen children’s meals that sneaks vegetables into youngsters’ favorite foods, has rolled out Mozzarella Sticks, Cheese Burritos and Waffles. Like all Kidfresh products, the latest additions feature no artificial colors or flavors, and no preservatives. Made with real cheese, whole wheat flour, and hidden chickpea flour, the Mozzarella Sticks are an excellent source of calcium and contain 8 grams of whole grains and 9 grams of protein per serving. The Cheese Burritos, containing mozzarella, cheddar cheese and hidden butternut squash and sweet potatoes, are a great source of calcium and contain 10 grams of protein per serving. Featuring 8 grams of protein, 5 grams of whole grains, and eight vitamins and minerals per serving, plus butternut squash for added nutritional value, the Waffles come in three traditional flavors: Homestyle, Blueberry and Chocolate Chip. An 8-count package of the Mozzarella Sticks, a 4-count package of the Cheese Burritos (both items debuting at select Target locations this month) and a box of eight Waffles (due out in June) all retail for a suggested $3.99.
