Sedano's Supermarkets

Sedano’s Supermarkets has purchased three Orlando, Fla.-area Albertsons stores, marking the Hispanic supermarket operator’s first move beyond its south Florida stomping grounds and bringing its total number of locations to 33. The company will officially take control of the stores during the first quarter of 2010.

Sedano’s Supermarkets will host a “Taste of Brazilian Flavors” food tasting and sampling event at its Miami-area stores. Starting Sept. 26 and running through Nov. 8, the festival will showcase exotic foods, drinks, snacks and tropical flavors from Brazil. Each tasting will include recipes and easy-to-serve dishes to make at home.
