Braddock replaces founding shareholder Peter Ackerman, who will remain on the board. In addition, Braddock increased his personal investment in the company.

    LANDOVER, Md. -- Giant Foods Inc. of Landover, has completed its rollout of Fujitsu point-of-sale (POS) hardware and loyalty software to its 200 stores throughout Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. The rollout is part of Ahold's objective to consolidate POS hardware platforms for its Giant-Landover and Stop & Shop chains. Stop & Shop has used Fujitsu or its predecessor POS systems for more than 25 years.
