A&P's Farmer Jack to Roll Out Hybrid
MONTVALE, N.J. -- In a bid to stop the declining fortunes of its Detroit-area banner Farmer Jack, A&P will convert three area stores next month to a format featuring characteristics of both high-end and discount merchandising, according to a local published report. If the stores perform well, all 60 Farmer Jack locations could be change over to the new format by year's end. -
First UltraPure Milk Line Rolled Out by NYC's Largest Milk Supplier
JAMAICA, N.Y. -- Mountainside Farms here, an affiliate of Elmhurst Dairy, Inc., New York City's biggest milk supplier, is now offering Mountainside Farms UltraPure milk in Whole, 2% Reduced Fat, 1% Lowfat, and Fat Free varieties at select grocery stores such as Gristede's, Food Emporium, A&P, Foodtown, D'Agostino, and Associated Supermarkets in New York and New Jersey.
