Stefano Foods’ Paninis and Strombolis

Smithfield Foods’ Stefano Foods division, based in Charlotte, N.C., has launched Three Meat and Chicken Caesar Paninis, and Pepperoni and Italian Sausage and Peppers Strombolis. The 8-ounce strombolis and 9-ounce paninis are available in bakeable, recyclable packaging and include 2-ounce packs of Pomodoro dipping sauce.

All products are made with small-batch dough. The Three Meat Panini is made with pepperoni, salami, Virginia ham, mozzarella and provolone cheeses. The Chicken Caesar is made with chicken, bacon, green onions and provolone, and Parmesan and Romano cheeses, along with Caesar dressing, topped with more Parmesan and Romano cheeses and Italian herbs. 

Pepperoni Stromboli is made with pepperoni, mozzarella and provolone. Italian Sausage and Peppers Stromboli is filled with traditional fennel Italian sausage and topped with Parmesan and Romano cheeses and Italian seasonings. The heat-and-eat products have a 14-day shelf life and an SRP of $3.99.
