In the Spotlight: Bigs Cinnamon & Sugar Pumpkin Seeds

Boulder, Colo.-based Thanasi Foods LLC has added Bigs Cinnamon & Sugar Pumpkin Seeds to its home-style roasted seeds product line. Available to retailers in mid-October, the seeds are roasted in a special home-style process that allows consumers to get the real flavor of home-roasted pumpkin seeds without the hassle. They also contain no artificial flavors, no preservatives and are non-GMO.

"We have discovered the perfect combination of cinnamon, sugar and our home-style roasting technique to bring out the real, delicious flavor of the pumpkin in every seed,” said Justin Havlick, president of Thanasi Foods.  “Based upon the popularity of our Bigs Lightly Salted Pumpkin Seeds released last fall, we felt it was a great time to offer an alternate taste for consumers who want a more indulgent tasting, healthier snack.”

Bigs Cinnamon & Sugar Pumpkin Seeds will be available in 12-count open stock cases and a variety of point-of-purchase displays including 36-count shippers, 24- and 36-count power wings and 12-count easy-up clip strips. A 5-ounce bag retails at $3.49.
