Containing three-quarters of a cup of vegetables per serving, new Progresso Good Natured Soups from Minneapolis-based General Mills make it easier for consumers to consume the recommended three to five servings of vegetables per day. The vegan line, which comprises three flavors: Hearty Tomato with Spinach and Roasted Garlic, Hearty Corn and Chipotle Chowder and Hearty Lentil with Garden Vegetables, uses different bean bases and vegetable purees to create a hearty and creamy texture without incorporating dairy ingredients. The soups have no preservatives or colors from artificial sources, and have an SRP of $3.29 per 17-ounce carton.
