Pasta Lensi Legume Dry Pastas

All are made with flour from various ground legumes

New from the American Italian Pasta Co., a division of Oak Brook, Ill.-based TreeHouse Foods Inc., are Pasta Lensi Legume pastas, single-ingredient pastas packed with plant-based protein and fiber. The Pasta Lensi line comprises three varieties: Chickpea Casarecce, made with flour ground from chickpeas and containing 22 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber per serving; Red Lentil Fusilli, made with flour from ground red lentils and containing 25 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber per serving; and Black Bean Sedani, made with flour from ground black beans and containing 21 grams of protein and 17 grams of fiber per serving. All made in Italy, the pastas are gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified and Vegan. Each has an SRP of $3.44 per 10-ounce box.
