MyMo Mochi Ice Cream
Available in seven flavors
Los Angeles-based Mikawaya, the creator of mochi ice cream, has introduced MyMo, a mochi ice cream targeted toward mainstream Millennial consumers. Mochi ice cream is a small, round dessert ball made of mochi – a soft, pounded sticky rice cake – formed around an ice cream filling. Available in seven flavors tailored to the American palate – Ripe Strawberry, Sweet Mango, Double Chocolate, Vanillla Bean, Cookies & Cream, Green Tea and Mint Chocolate Chip – MyMo comes in boxes of six 1.5-ounce pieces with an SRP of $4.99 per box. Each of the balls is pre-proportioned to roughly 110 calories apiece.
