Dr. Praeger's Adds Veggies to Hash Browns
Vegetarian products company Dr. Praeger’s, based in Elmwood Park, N.J., packs garden-fresh flavor and ingredients into a breakfast classic: the hash brown. The family-owned company – best known for its popular veggie burgers – has launched a line of four frozen hash brown varieties that feature root vegeables for added flavor and taste.
Varieties include:
- Four Potato Hash Browns, shredded red, gold, purple and sweet potatoes
- Root Veggie Hash Browns, a medley of carrots, Yukon Gold potatoes, rutabaga, taro and yuca
- Southwest Hash Browns, Yukon Gold potatoes blended with spicy peppers and onions
- Sweet Potato Hash Brown, a mix of sweet potato shreds with a hint of brown sugar
Dr. Praeger’s hash browns can easily be transformed into creative meals – topped with grilled vegetables, or used as a base for casseroles – vegan or otherwise, any time of day. Eight-pack Hash Browns are kosher, certified gluten-free and verified by the Non-GMO Project. The new offerings are available nationally at natural food stores and conventional grocers.
