Tops Markets LLC has promoted Mark Lumadue to the position VP distribution. In his new role, Lumadue will oversee all aspects of operations at the company’s distribution centers, including grocery, perishable and freezer operations, transportation and logistics, process quality, and facilities. He managed the team’s efforts to re-profile and label racking, install IT systems, and created a transition plan, all while ensuring that there was no lapse in service to our stores.”
Tops operates 172 supermarkets, with five additional locations run by franchisees under the Tops banner. The grocer employs more than 16,000 associates at stores in in New York, northern Pennsylvania, western Vermont and north central Massachusetts.
