DENVER - The beef industry experienced another successful summer grilling season in 2006 as consumers kept the coals hot and their grills full of beef, according to the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, which contracts to manage retail programs for the Beef Checkoff.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Schwan's Consumer Brands North America, Inc., here has joined forces with acclaimed country music singer Julie Roberts for a promotion that, although details are not yet finalized, will include such Schwan's brands as Red Baron single-serve pizzas and snacks, as well as Asian Sensations items. According to Schwan's Consumer Brands, the partnership with Roberts will afford "distinctive opportunities for branding and consumer programming."
