Spartan Stores Bows First Seattle's Best Coffee Café In Breton Meadows Family Fare

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Executives from Spartan Stores here will raise their mugs tomorrow morning to toast the debut of West Michigan's first Seattle's Best Coffee cafe location in the Family Fare store in Kentwood, Mich.

"We are very excited to be the first supermarket location to introduce Seattle's Best Coffee to West Michigan," said Craig Sturken, Spartan's president, chairman, and c.e.o. "This is an exciting new offering for our all customers," he added, noting the "great fit between our Family Fare banner and Seattle's Best Coffee," each of which "has been developed to serve the entire family."

A ceremonial first pour will take place at 9 a.m. in the new in-store café, which will serve a full line of Seattle's Best premium coffee and noncoffee beverages, including lattes, mochas, hand-shaken cold brewed coffees and the JavaKula, Seattle's Best's signature blended beverage line. In addition, the cafes will offer a fresh food menu, featuring pastries and bakery items, as well as Oven Song bakery fresh food, featuring warm sandwiches. The cafes will also offer select Seattle's Best Coffee merchandise and a variety of whole-bean coffees. The cafes have graphics celebrating Seattle's Best Coffee's heritage and the lighter side of Seattle coffee culture.
