Sambrailo Packaging Gets Best of Show Nod at PMA's Foodservice Conference
NEWARK, DEL. -- Sambrailo Packaging received the best of show honors out of 140 other expo exhibitors the 25th Foodservice Conference & Exposition sponsored by the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA), based here.
A team of industry professionals anonymously judged all exhibitors on booth presentation, product presentation, and exhibit personnel during expo hours on Sunday July 16.
PMA's foodservice conference, which took place in Monterey, Calif., last weekend, boasted record attendance and double buyer numbers. More than 1,500 industry professionals, including chefs, grower-shippers, menu developers, distributors, restaurant operators and owners, suppliers, among others in attendance.
In its first year, the golf tournament to benefit the Nucci Scholarship for Culinary Innovation raised $30,000 to bring culinary students to participate in next year's Foodservice Conference and Exposition.
Next year's Foodservice Conference & Expo are scheduled for July 20-22, 2007, in Monterey.
