Rich Products Appoints Director, Channel Marketing

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Rich Products here has named Marie Fahey director of channel marketing in the foodservice division.

With more than 22 years of foodservice experience, including positions in marketing, customer and consumer insights, and sales, Fahey comes to Rich's from Unilever Foodsolutions, where she had been since 1992, working in a variety of positions in both marketing and sales in the former Bestfoods organization, and then with Unilever after its acquisition of Bestfoods.

Most recently, Fahey held the position of v.p./market intelligence and insight, responsible for developing customer-focused short- and long-term strategic direction to include focal segments, enhanced customer targeting, product alignment, and sales force deployment. Prior to this position she was v.p., customer marketing and strategy and led the alternative channels team (club, cash and carry, convenience stores, and military).

Before working at Bestfoods, Fahey worked at Kitchens of Sara Lee and was executive director of the foodservice council at FCPMC, an organization that addressed foodservice industry issues in Canada.
