Reynold's Market Deploys New POS with "Green" Receipt Printer
SIDNEY, MT - Community-based independent Reynold's Market has deployed a new point-of-sale (POS) solution featuring a new two-sided receipt printer that - in addition to conserving paper - also offers enhanced marketing capabilities.
The solution, from Atlanta-based retail technology solutions provider NCR and initially deployed at the five-lane Reynold's Market here, includes NCR's Advanced Checkout Solution software, RealPOS workstations with the DynaKey cashier interface, RealPOS two-sided thermal receipt printers, RealScan bi-optic bar-code scanners, and RealPOS electronic payment terminals.
"Our new solution is proving to be an outstanding investment for us," said Reynold's Market owner and g.m. Ron Barone. "Besides reducing our paper roll needs, [the two-sided receipt printer] allows us to visibly demonstrate our concern for the environment. At the same time, it opens the door for future new marketing opportunities with promotional messaging and a different color on the back of our receipts."
