PBH Unveils New Web Site

WILMINGTON, Del. -- To better attract and service a broad range of supporters, Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) unveiled a new corporate Web site this week designed to foster better communication between current and potential foundation supporters and partners.

The new Web site, which complements the now-familiar www.5aday.org consumer Web site, "Communicates all that PBH can offer to help grow the fruit and vegetable market for America's better health, and in the process works to solidify and expand our support," said PBH president and c.e.o. Elizabeth Pivonka.

Once on the new site, visitors will find updated and expanded content on topics ranging from research to nutrition policy to marketing and promotions. The site also includes sections specifically targeted to the produce industry, non-produce companies, retailers, the foodservice industry, the media, and educators from the classroom to the worksite. It also makes the case for supporting the foundation through membership or charitable giving, and the related benefits. PBH will continue to build on the site's initial content, to add a variety of tools and resources over time.

For example, licensed retailers will find a host of downloadable resources including print and broadcast advertising copy, associate training materials, ideas for positioning fruit and vegetable displays as a consumer health destination, and archived Aisle 5 newsletters. It will also highlight ongoing PBH retail promotions and preview upcoming retail promotion partnership opportunities. PBH members will also find easier access to research documents, archived editions of PBH Direct, sponsorship opportunity listings, and an events calendar.
