Market Street Plans Earth Day Expo

United Supermarkets' 10 Market Street locations in Texas will host a free Earth Day Expo on April 21 and 22, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

During the free event, attendees will be able to sample Market Street's organic, natural and sustainable products. Expert Market Street team members will be available to discuss the benefits of featured Earth Day products and answer questions.

“This is our first Earth Day Expo, and we're looking forward to the opportunity to provide our guests with how to be more environmentally friendly through our great product selection,” said Wes Jackson, chief merchandising officer for Lubbock, Texas-based United Supermarkets LLC, parent company of the upscale Market Street banner. “This event should also be a great opportunity for guests who are becoming more health-conscious to learn about our growing natural and organic product offerings.”

Attendees will be able to sample organic grass-fed beef, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)-certified cod fillets, Sticky Fingers Fruit Butter, Otter Creek Organic Spring Cheese, Nature's Path Organic Granola, organic wines in sustainable packaging, and a full selection of organic fruit. United's Full Circle All Natural Take & Bake Breads, Spreads, Nuts and Quinoa will also be sampled.
