    BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is making sure its seafood departments get credit for supporting sustainable fisheries. The chain said yesterday it is now featuring the Marine Stewardship Council's (MSC) independent blue eco-label on 10 fish products, including the world's first MSC-labeled surimi products, in its Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations across the United States.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- For the second time this month, Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. here has issued a voluntary recall of a private label product -- this time it's 22-ounce loaves of Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Country Wheat Hearty Sliced Bread with a "Best if used by" date of Aug. 22, because the item may contain pieces of cotton and could pose a choking hazard. The retailer received several complaints on Wednesday from shoppers who discovered pieces of cotton baked into the product.
