Latest Harris Teeter Signature Sub to Debut

Carolina Hurricanes forward Tim Brent has teamed up with Matthews, N.C.-based Harris Teeter to introduce the athlete’s personally designed Signature Sub Sandwich, the “Hespeler Hoagie.” On March 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Brent will appear at the Crescent Commons Harris Teeter in Cary, N.C., to mark the sub’s official rollout.

Retailing for $3.99, the sandwich consists of grilled chicken with provolone cheese on a wheat sub roll, layered with lettuce, tomato and banana peppers; topped with ranch dressing; and seasoned with salt and pepper. For $4.99 shoppers can make it a lunch pack, which adds a choice of Harris Teeter Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea or Lemonade, as well as a choice of one Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal Raisin or Cranberry Nut Cookie, to the Hespeler Hoagie.

The sandwich – the final Hurricanes Signature Sub of the season -- will be available in the Fresh Foods Market Sandwich Shop in all Raleigh, N.C.-area Harris Teeter stores. During his March 8 appearance, Brent will offer samples and sign autographs.
