James Carville, Jeb Bush to Keynote 2011 NGA Convention
Political operative James Carville and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will be the opening keynote speakers at the 2011 National Grocers Association Annual Convention and Supermarket Synergy Showcase, scheduled for Feb. 13-16 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
While economic experts say the recession is over, there are differing opinions as to what lies in the future. Many American businesses and their employees are still reeling from the consequences of the economic crisis. Carville and Bush will join together for “America at a Crossroads” to debate a number of critical issues facing Americans such as health care, taxes, energy and the effectiveness of Congress.
The next convention, “Commitment to Excellence: Taking Charge of Change,” will focus on looking towards the future and address the many concerns of America’s independent grocers, as well as offer opportunities to network, share ideas and craft solutions with industry peers.
