Haggen, Grocery Shopping Network Roll Out Two Partner Web Sites
GSN's tools allow consumers online access to unadvertised specials, available varieties of products, recipes, coupons, weekly circular items, and an easy-to-use shopping list builder, among other convenient features.
"There is a consumer frenzy for the best shopping solution, and Grocery Shopping Network will strive to cater to consumer demand," noted Andy Robinson, c.e.o. of Minneapolis-based GSN. "We will also continue to build grocery Web sites so consumers have the ability to shop the entire store according to their preferences and historical purchases."
According to GSN, retail grocers that team with it experience a strong ROI through higher sales generated by engaging shoppers at their Web site, expanding the average basket by 40 percent, and by being part of the GSN Ad Network, which exclusively delivers over 4,000 retail grocery locations in the top U.S. markets.
Bellingham, Wash.-based Haggen, the sixth-largest privately owned company in the state of Washington, operates 33 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon under the Haggen Food & Pharmacy and TOP Food & Drug banners.
