CTFA Makes Last Call for 90-Day Challenge

REEDLEY, Calif. -- With hundreds already signed up to participate in the 90-Day Challenge sponsored by the California Tree Fruit Agreement (CTFA) based here, August 11 is the last day for consumers to register the unique online health-focused program.

The 90-Day Challenge is an interactive program invites consumers to track their daily consumption of fresh fruit. The Challenge offer participants benefits such as warm-weather focused recipes, and tips from two-time gold medalist Summer Sanders.

By making weekly trips to the Challenge's "Pit Stop," participants also have the opportunity to earn free iTunes downloads, along with receiving health, beauty and nutrition tips. Recipes featuring fresh California peaches, plums and nectarines are delivered to participants' e-mail inboxes.

Fresh summer fruits, such as California peaches, plums and nectarines, are a great fit with healthy summer lifestyles and sunny days, not just because they're refreshingly juicy when it's warm outside, but also because the three fruits are proven sources of antioxidants and other phytonutrients that can help in overall wellness and improved skin condition.

The CTFA administers marketing order programs on behalf of California's 2,000 fresh peach, plum, and nectarine growers and also includes the PPN Network, a strategic marketing resource for the peach, plum and nectarine industry.
