Robert Mariano, a.k.a. Chairman Bob, will be hanging out in Madison, Wis., today to host a barbecue event for shoppers at the Mineral Point Copps store, and will serve up $1 lunches featuring Roundy’s own brand products.

In a bid to make to make fresh, local produce more readily available to Metro Detroit urban residents, the Associated Food & Petroleum Dealers (AFPD) and the Michigan Department of Agriculture’s “Select Michigan” program are launching a new “Buy Local, Eat Fresh” program.

At Pick 'n Save stores in Kenosha and Wausau, customers will be able to earn 10 cents-off per gallon of gas with every $50 they spend on groceries.

A series of Barbecue Bashes will feature $1 lunches of 'approved' Roundy's Own Brand products.

The new concept store replaces an existing unit, adds more choices, energy efficiencies.

The grocer’s program also offers free Roundy’s products at Pick ’n Save, Copps and Rainbow.
