Burke Joins Diamond Foods As Marketing Veep
STOCKTON, Calif. -- Andrew Burke has joined Diamond Foods, Inc. here as v.p. of marketing, effective June 19. Burke has extensive food industry marketing experience, serving most recently as a marketing v.p. at Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery in Modesto, Calif. Prior to Gallo, he spent seven years at Kraft Foods, Inc., in Rye Brook, N.Y., where he guided strategic marketing for a broad range of major brands including Jell-O, Altoids, and LifeSavers.
Early in his career he was an account supervisor for Young & Rubicam, Inc. advertising agency in New York.

Burke received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and a master's in finance and marketing from Fordham University.
