Affiliated Foods SW to Offer Price, Promo Technology to Grocers
Affiliated Foods Southwest plans to offer a price and promotion optimization program to the retailers it serves over the Internet in a pay-as-you-go format.
The regional wholesaler said it will integrate Floram Park, N.J.-based Revionics’ pricing and promotion optimization services into its retail program portfolio.
“Our members expect the best from us, from quality products to value-adding retail services,” said John Mills, president and c.e.o. of Affiliated. “Revionics will help our members improve profits. They understand the competitive nature of our market, and can help our retailers arrive at the right price mix.”
The Revionics Advanced Pricing System (RAPS) uses consumer demand intelligence and proprietary retail pricing science to enhance weekly price remodeling, as well as build scenario planning, forecasting, and category analytics. It’s available to retailers as a subscription offering over the Internet.
