Zigerelli and Ellis Elected to NACDS Board

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Lawrence Zigerelli, president and c.o.o. of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer, and Mike Ellis, group v.p. for grocery, drug, general merchandise and pharmacy merchandising, procurement, and advertising for the Kroger Co. in Cincinnati, were elected new directors of the board of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) at the trade groups' annual meeting here this weekend.

Anthony Civello, president and c.e.o. of Durham, N.C.-based Kerr Drug, was named chairman of the board.
