Winn-Dixie to Open Lovers' Lane for Valentine Shoppers
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - On-the-go Romeos and Juliets juggling workplace demands with their personal errands, household chores and children's activities this Valentine's Day will appreciate Lovers' Lane at Winn-Dixie Stores Inc., a checkout lane devoted solely to shoppers purchasing Valentine-related items.
Lovers' Lane will be open adjacent to each Winn-Dixie Floral Shoppe today and on Feb. 14 for shoppers buying flowers, balloons, candy, cards, special baked goods, wine and other gift-giving essentials. Hours for the special checkout lane will vary by store.
In addition, the grocer's floral shoppes are featuring an "It Takes Two" custom gift bag containing a dozen-rose bouquet for $19.99. The gift bag also includes a free vase and can be easily enhanced with balloons, ribbon, candies and a plush toy.
"'It Takes Two' and our other holiday gift options give our customers great value for their money with convenient one-stop shopping and express check-out at our Lovers' Lane," said Joanne Gage, Winn-Dixie's v.p. of advertising and marketing.
