Winn-Dixie Begins Fuel Discount Pilot Program
Winn-Dixie Stores is piloting fuelperks!, the program that will allow the Jacksonville, Fla.-based chain's customers to earn savings on gas when they shop at any of the grocer's 11 Panama City, Fla. stores.
The program uses the redesigned Winn-Dixie's Customer Reward Card, which includes the company's new logo and a magnetic stripe. For every qualified $50 purchase customers make using their new card, they will receive a 10-cent-per-gallon fuel discount redeemable at any one of 13 area gas station locations.
Customers can see their fuelperks! information on the bottom of sales receipts or view their account balances online at the grocer's Web site. Cardholders receive instant discounts on merchandise throughout the store, can see their savings on register receipts and can participate in exclusive programs and promotions.
