Weis Markets Names Osunde, Sheedy to Director Roles

Weis Markets has named Crystal Osunde its director of pharmacy operations, while Ed Sheedy joins the company as director of category analysis, promotional income & retail strategies.

Bringing more than a decade of pharmacy operations experience, most recently with Target and CVS, Osunde will oversee the day-to-day management and operations of Weis' 134 in-store pharmacies.

In his new role, Sheedy will oversee the formulation of corporate merchandising strategy and business development activities. He’ll also be responsible for the integration of customer-based metrics into merchandising and marketing program development. Sheedy was most recently director of category management insights at Ahold USA.

Sunbury, Pa.-based Weis Markets operates 163 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
