Walmart has expanded click-and-collect to 22 new locations in Canada
Walmart Inc. has rolled out its click-and-collect service to 22 Canadian locations in the cities of Victoria, British Columbia; Regina, Saskatchewan; Quebec City; Moncton, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Now available for the first time in Atlantic Canada, the service earlier launched at locations in the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba.
The free offering enables shoppers to order online at Walmart.ca or via the Walmart app, and then pick up their orders at a store. Although normally, customers inform Walmart upon arrival at the pickup store and an associate would bring the order out to the customer and load it into the car, Walmart has introduced at the 22 locations “mobile check-in,” which gives shoppers the choice of notifying the pickup store a half-hour ahead of their arrival with a single tap on the app.
