United Supermarkets to Implement New Data Mining Solutions for Loss Prevention

LUBBOCK, Texas -- United Supermarkets here is attacking shrink head-on with a new loss prevention initiative that includes the ShrinkTrax and DM2 advanced data mining solutions from Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Trax Retail Solutions.

Additionally, DM2 is the only data mining solution with "transaction-level profiling" analytics, point-and-click drilldown, and a Web-enabled interface, according to Trax.
