Unilever's Promise Brand Targeting Health Care Pros Online

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. -- Unilever's Promise brand has launched The Promise Institute for Heart Health Nutrition (PIHHN) at http://www.PromiseInstitute.org, a Web-based information resource designed to support dietitians and other healthcare professionals with diet and nutrition counseling activities.

With science-based professional resources and patient education materials, Unilever said the site underscores a commitment from Promise to support widespread heart health nutrition education in the United States.

"Promise recognizes that each day dietitians and other healthcare professionals are helping people make the connection between the foods they buy at the supermarket and their long-term health," said Stephen Schultz, senior brand manager, Promise, in a statement. "The goal of PIHHN is to make the job of professionals easier as they help consumers with meaningful diet choices."

Last year the brand developed an online continuing education program for the nation's nurses and nurse practitioners.
