RICHMOND, Va. -- Ukrop's Super Markets, Inc. here has selected Athens Group Price Optimizer and Predictor (POP!) solution to support price optimization for its chain of 28 grocery stores. The solution, from Austin, Texas-based Athens Group, is a comprehensive demand forecasting/optimization application designed to give high-volume retailers the ability to model pricing strategies depending on margin and product sales goals for stores, markets, or regions.
