Ukrop's Saves Customers Over $500K with Fuelperks!
Customers in the Richmond, Va. area have saved more than $515,000 or an average of more than $5 per fill up since the June 30 launch of fuelperks!, a rewards program offered by Ukrop's Super Markets, Inc. The program rewards customers with gas discounts, ranging from 10 cents to several dollars per gallon at 21 local gas stations.
"Ukrop's customers in the Richmond area have redeemed fuelperks! nearly 80,000 times, totaling more than one million gallons of discounted gas," said Bobby Ukrop, president and c.e.o. of the Richmond-based 28-store chain. "We've seen strong interest from customers in saving on groceries and gas purchases through fuelperks! Some customers rush to the pump while others are opting to accumulate fuelperks!"
The loyalty program rewards Ukrop's customers with savings of 10 cents per gallon of fuel for every $50 of groceries they purchase at any Richmond-area Ukrop's location or Joe's Market. The discounts are redeemable at Uppy's Convenience Stores, Inc. Six additional fueling locations will accept fuelperks! rewards later this summer.
