MUMBAI -- The inaugural issue of Progressive Grocer India was officially released yesterday by Subodh Kant Sahai, minister of food processing industries for the government of India, in the presence of hundreds of Indian and international retailing industry heads at the India Retail Forum 2007 here.

The grocer issued the recall after three members of a family were infected with the bacteria after eating undercooked 96% Lean Ground Round bought at the store on July 21.
