Sunflower Farmers Market to Raise $20K This Month for Habitat for Humanity
Sunflower Farmers Market is working with Habitat for Humanity of Colorado to aid the organization's 1,000 Homes in Colorado campaign by raising $20,000 in November.
Throughout the month of November, the eight Colorado Sunflowers Markets will feature in-store signage and donation booths to promote Habitat for Humanity's program. The stores will also collect donations and recruit volunteers to help to reach their goal of raising $20,000 by month's end.
The grocer is also taking a hands-on approach: Groups consisting of Sunflower staff and customers will help build Habitat for Humanity homes on four different sites throughout the month, and will provide catering and decorations for the 1,000 Homes Celebration on November 22 in Longmont.
Sunflower Farmers Markets operates 19 retail stores located in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah, and will expand into Texas later this month.
