Stouffer’s Helps Couples Reconnect
Valentine’s Day may be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean the romance has to end. That’s the firm belief of Solon, Ohio-based Nestlé Prepared Foods Co., which is publicizing the launch of its Stouffer’s Sautes for Two line with “Put the Two Back in Tuesdays,” a national campaign encouraging couples to reconnect over dinner at least once a week.
The brand will invite couples to make their Tuesdays extraordinary with the help of the new chef-inspired meals. To provide the proper inspiration, professional beach volleyball player and former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Misty May-Treanor will share how she and her husband, pro baseball player Matt Treanor, enjoy date nights with Sautes for Two.
“Like most Americans, we’re an incredibly busy couple with schedules that don’t always align, but we always make the time to enjoy dinner together at least one night a week, because it's important to us and to our relationship,” said May-Treanor. “We love Stouffer’s Sautes for Two because it is a quick, easy and unbelievably delicious meal that equates to less time cooking and more time actually reconnecting.”
To enable other couples across the country do likewise, Stouffer’s will reward Facebook fans with weekly downloadable coupons to try a Sautes for Two variety, in addition to providing tips and hints on how to make Tuesdays extraordinary. Fans can begin downloading coupons starting today with additional discounts available to Sautes for Two fans through March 20.
Stouffer’s Sautes for Two are made with such premium ingredients as stuffed pastas, prime rib beef, asiago and gorgonzola cheeses. Each meal is accompanied with a gourmet sauce sealed in a flavor pouch. The collection consists of Grilled Chicken & Asiago Tortelloni, Steak Gorgonzola, Braised Beef & Portobello Tortelloni, Cajun Style Shrimp Alfredo, and Chicken Bacon Alfredo All varieties cook quickly and easily in a sauté pan in 13 minutes or under.
