Stater Bros. Promotes Patti Brown to Ad Director
COLTON, Calif. -- Patti Brown has been named the new director of advertising
for Stater Bros. Markets based here.
In her new capacity, Brown is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the
company's advertising department, and reports to Jerry Bee, v.p. of advertising.
Brown, a resident of Riverside, Calif., joined the chain in 1983 as a billing
clerk at the corporate office. In 1985, she was promoted to receptionist in the
advertising department, where she worked through the ranks for the past eight
years, most recently as manager.

Stater Bros. operates 160 supermarkets and employs more than 16,000
associates. The company has been serving the Southern California market since
1936. It has new supermarkets on tap in the communities of Fontana (scheduled
to open in April 2005), and Adelanto (scheduled to open in June 2005).
