Stater Bros. Opens 160th Supermarket Today
COLTON, Calif. -- Stater Bros. Markets opened the doors of its newest and most modern full service supermarket this morning at Bear Creek Village Center in Wildomar.
At 44,000 sq. ft., the new full service supermarket includes: full-service meat department with famous Stater Bros. butchers; full-service seafood department; full-service hot service deli offering salads, premium deli meats, a wide variety of domestic and imported cheeses, sandwiches-to-go including the new "Sandwich Classics" using La Brea fine rolls, party trays, quick-and-easy hot lunches and dinners, and its branded Golden Fried Chicken; full-service hot bakery featuring daily fresh-baked artisan breads, cookies, rolls, elegant desserts, and custom-made cakes; expanded produce department featuring more than 500 items; floral department offering fresh-cut flower bouquets, silk arrangements, potted plants, and balloons; full-service pharmacy; and Krispy Kreme doughnuts delivered fresh every day.
Stater Bros. now operates 160 full service supermarket locations, with 47 in San Bernardino County, 44 in Riverside County, 30 in Orange County, 27 in Los Angeles County, 10 in Northern San Diego County, and 2 in Kern County.
Stater Bros. has also said it plans to build supermarkets in the three Southern California communities of Fontana (scheduled to open in April 2005), and Adelanto (to open in June 2005).
