Stater Bros.' Michael Reed Promoted to Real Estate VP

Stater Bros. Markets Senior Director of Real Estate Michael Reed has been promoted to VP real estate, effective immediately.

“Michael has done an outstanding job of leading our Real Estate and Property Management divisions,” said Stater Executive Chairman Jack H. Brown.  “His management and proven real estate expertise will continue to help Stater Bros. meet present and future real estate needs."

With more than 16 years of experience, Reed previously served as real estate store development manager for Starbucks, in which he was responsible for growing the company’s Mid-West and Western Mountain Regions. 

In his new role, Reed will report to President/CEO Pete Van Helden.

San Bernardino, Calif.-based Stater Bros. operates 168 supermarkets.
