SpartanNash Directors Honored as Top Influencers
Two members of SpartanNash Co.’s board of directors, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Hawthorne “Peet” Proctor and Yvonne Jackson, were named to Savoy Magazine’s Power 300: 2016 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors listing. Both have been on the SpartanNash board since 2013 when Spartan Stores and Nash Finch Co. merged.

Jackson was appointed to the Spartan Stores board of directors in 2010 and is the president and principal of Beecher Jackson Inc., a human resources management consulting firm. Proctor was appointed to the Nash Finch board of Directors in 2007 and serves as the managing partner of Proctor & Boone LLC, a business consulting firm as well as a senior logistics consultant in the Department of Defense Business Group of Intelligent Decisions Inc.
Savoy’s 2016 2016 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors list includes 300 leading black executives who are making or have made significant inroads within their companies to foster inclusion and to broaden the discussion about the importance of diversity on the bottom line.
