SIAL Montreal Exhibition Floor Filling Up Fast
MONTREAL, Canada -- Sixty percent of the exhibition floor for the fifth edition of SIAL Montreal, "The North American Food Marketplace," is already reserved, the show’s organizers said yesterday.
The event, which has now become annual, is scheduled to take place April 23-25, 2008. Show organizers anticipate more than 700 exhibitors and 14,000 visits from over 80 countries at the Palais des congrès de Montréal exhibition center.
Thanks to the show’s affiliation with mega global food show SIAL Paris, about 40 percent of exhibitors are anticipated to come from outside of Canada.
Last year, international exhibitors were represented on 12 national pavilions and individual booths for a total of 30 exhibiting countries.
