Schnucks Breaks Ground For Urban 'Culinaria' Store
Set to open this summer under a new banner, Culinaria - A Schnucks Market, the concept store will be the only full-service grocery store in downtown St. Louis. It will offer a variety of products under the Culinaria brand name, as well as valet service and delivery, according to local press reports.
At just over 20,000 square feet, the two-story market will be less than half the size of a standard Schnucks grocery store. Scott Schnuck, CEO of the family-held chain, was quoted as saying: "What it lacks in space, it will make up for in service and products."
