Sales Team Shifts at Big Y
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Michael D'Amour, Big Y's senior director for fresh foods, Michael D'Amour says that the following changes will occur within his sales management team, effective July 19:
Tom Marcotte, formerly seafood sales manager, will take on the role of food service sales manager; Roland Asselin, formerly food service sales manager, will become seafood sales manager; Steve Bordonaro, former bakery sales manager will be meat sales manager; and Gary Bolduc, formerly meat sales manager, will be bakery sales manager.
These sales manager changes are designed to help Big Y in its plan to continue growing in these perishable departments through an emphasis on freshness, quality, and customer service, according to the retailer.
Family-owned Big Y, one of the largest independently owned supermarket chains in New England, operates 56 stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts, with over 9,200 employees.
