Reasor’s recently presented a check for $31,131 to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, funds the grocer and its customers raised during charity event.

All 15 Reasor’s grocery stores participated in “Food for Families,” an annual community-wide food and fund drive benefiting the food bank. The food drive kicked off on February 7th and continued through March 14th.

“We are elated over the success of this food drive,” said Jeff Reasor, chairman and CEO. “This donation would not be possible without the generous contributions of our customers.”

Additionally, 17,700 pounds of food were donated to the food bank as part of the food drive. Reasor’s customers donated canned goods and other non-perishables throughout the course of the food drive.

The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is a non-profit organization founded in 1981.
