Raley's Extends Use of Hiring Management Software
WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Regional independent Raley's Family of Fine Stores here yesterday extended the contract with its existing hiring management software vendor for an additional three-and-a-half years, based on the software's successful track record since 2003.
Raleys uses Portland, Ore.-based Unicru's hiring management system to increase operational efficiencies, quality, and productivity of its 14,000 associates. "We feel that Unicru offers tools that will help Raley's continue our legacy of hiring and retaining outstanding colleagues," said Jeff Szczesny, Raley's s.v.p. of human resources.
More than 60 grocery banners, including Albertsons, Supervalu, Kroger, Pathmark, and Big Y Foods, use Unicru's system, according to the vendor.
Raley's operates 137 stores in Northern California, Nevada, and New Mexico under the following banners: Raley's, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods, and Food Source -- located in Northern California, Nevada and New Mexico.
